UDF to maraud seats, BJP to open maiden account; exit poll surveys

Thiruvananthapuram:  Majority of the exit polls predict Congress led UDF coalition to have won major seats  in Kerala. BJP led NDA alliance will likely to open its maiden account to the parliament in the state Major chunk of exit polls predicts CPI (M) led left democratic front likely to have faced a debacle in the state in 2019 general elections.

India Today and Chanakya predict UDF to have won 15 to 16 seats and LDF would win 3 to 5 seats and BJP to have won 0 to 1 seats. Times Now-CNX survey predicts UDF to have won 15 seats, LDF to have 4 seats and BJP one seat.  According to News X-Neta exit poll predictions UDF to have won 14 seats, in which congress to win 10, Muslim League to win 2 seats, and RSP and Kerala Congress (M) would win one seat each. The survey predicts BJP to have opened maiden account.  This exit poll predicts LDF to have won 5 seats with CPI (M) to have won 4 seats and CPI with 1 seat.

Manorama News-Karvy Insights exit poll predicts UDF to have won four constituencies in South Kerala and a photo finishing is forecasted in two seats. NDA will dominate in vote share over these constituencies, the exit poll says. NDA cannot be won Pathanamthitta, a view opposite to the earlier predictions over the constituency and predicts UDF to have won the constituency. The survey predicts to have a photofinishing in Alapuzha.  In Kollam, RSP candidate NK Premachandran will sustain the constituency and Attingal is predicted to have supported sitting MP Sampath.

In Thiruvananthapuram, where a strong contest was sustained the exit poll predicts to have a photofinishing. Shashi Tharoor, the sitting Congress MP, C Divakaran, the  CPI leader and Kummanam Rajasekharan, the former Mizoram governor and former BJP State President, among the candidate trio,  the BJP candidate Kummanam  is predicted  to have higher chance of winning  The UDF candidate will come next to Kummanam , as per the survey.
